About this service
A dance floor does two things: it protects the dancing from soft grass or uneven patio, and it gives the reception a center of gravity. We size the floor to your headcount, level the surface underneath so nobody catches a heel on a seam, and set it where the DJ or band wants it. Delivery, leveling, setup, and takedown are included inside our South Orange County service area.
For backyard weddings we usually set the dance floor under a tent and pair it with string lighting overhead. Tell us the whole setup — tent, floor, lighting, tables — and we will quote it together.
Sizes by Guest Count
Frequently Asked
What size dance floor do I need?
Plan for about a third of your guests dancing at once, at roughly 4.5 square feet per couple. A 12x12 floor suits about 30 to 40 guests, a 15x15 suits 50 to 70, an 18x18 suits 80 to 100, and a 21x21 or 24x24 suits 120 to 180. Tell us your headcount and we will recommend the right size.
How much does dance floor rental cost?
Dance floors price by size, starting around $250 for a 12x12 and rising with each panel for the larger 18x18 to 24x24 floors. Delivery, leveling, setup, and takedown are included inside our South Orange County service area. Call (949) 371-9792 for a same-hour quote.
Can you set up a dance floor outdoors on grass?
Yes. We install outdoor dance floors over grass, patio, and pavers using a leveling subfloor so the surface stays flat and safe. For backyard weddings we often set the floor under a tent. Let us know the ground type when you call.
What dance floor finishes do you offer?
We rent classic parquet wood and black-and-white checkerboard finishes. Both work indoors and outdoors and pair well with string lighting or uplighting for evening receptions.
Do you deliver and set up the dance floor?
Yes. Delivery, leveling, setup, and takedown are included in the rental rate for orders inside our South Orange County service area: Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, Lake Forest, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Coto de Caza, Ladera Ranch, Trabuco Canyon, San Juan Capistrano, Dana Point, and Irvine.
